TestTalker
© 2005 Freedom Scientific
Good for struggling readers, TestTalker allows you to create or transform your printed tests into a digital format to be completed on the computer, reading the test aloud to your students. You can create a test from scratch or you can import an existing test, as long as they designed using multiple choice, true/false, or short answers. The program is easy to use, with the exception of a formatting issue. Multiple choice and true/false questions have little circles the student clicks on to select the answer. In the construction of a test, these circles don't line up, making you go jump several formatting hoops steps to get things aligned. Other than that, the program does what it says it does, and could be a valuable tool for students with accessibility issues.
