My First Story Reader

This simplified version of the PIL's Story Reader reads books aloud (just open the book and turn the page). Simply turn pages to hear the narrator read the story while the Reader adds sound effects and music. Includes 3 Baby Einstein Interactive Books: Discover Colors, Discover Music, and Discover the Sky. My First Story Reader is designed for use by little hands and features a clamshell-style unit with an easy-grip handle. It features a volume control and two play options: Interactive rhyming verse narration and question and answer mode. In question and answer mode, the Story Reader asks a question about the images on the page. The child then selects one of the three large buttons beneath each page that correspond with shapes and colors that answer the question. if the child answers correctly, the button lights up and the unit makes a sound indicating success. For an incorrect answer, the unit prompts the child to try again. Nine titles were announced at Toy Fair 2005, including Sesame Street, Baby Einstein, and Disney's Winnie the Pooh.
