The Flash Action skill drill programs are being re-released, this time with the ability to toggle back and forth between English and Spanish. The core program is the same -- a drill on multiplication and division facts. Children can play alone or against a friend, timed or untimed, and can select discreet groups of facts to work on. It's very simple— the problem flashes on the screen, kids type in the answer, and so on. Scores are kept as are records of missed facts. The simple, straightforward design can quickly become repetitive, but the program is inexpensive and useful and, on the whole, would make a very nice addition to both home and school software libraries.
