This text-to-speech tool highlights screen text, and reads it aloud. It reads text, HTML, and DAISY 2.02 formatted digital talking books (Windows version only). A "type and talk" feature assists with writing. Voice options include SAPI 4.0, SAPI 5.0 and ATT Natural Voices. We found it fairly easy to use, and liked the child-friendly appearance of the toolbars. A free trial is available at www.cast.org.
