Want to let children "see" temperature? Here's the tool for you. One of a series of new data collection probes, Go! Temp plugs into the USB port of your computer. After you install the graphing software, you can easily measure, in real time, temperature change in things like ice water, vinegar and baking soda, and so on. The probe is easy to use, affordable, and comes with a teacher manual with ten activities and worksheets (Celsius and Fahrenheit-- What's the Difference?; Design Your Own Thermos; I'm Melting! and so on). Other probes in the series vary in cost and include sensors for light, pH, magnetic fields, dual-range force, gas pressure, relative humidity, and more. Highly recommend for science studies.
