Note: this program has been updated. See Kid Pix 3X Universal Edition Essentially the same program as Riverdeep's new Kid Pix Deluxe 4, this version by Mackiev does have some advantages. One, it's cheaper by about $50. Two, it offers a larger workspace for drawing and painting. And three, it's faster, with no delay between click and onscreen action. That said, the Riverdeep program has some strengths over the Mackiev version— it has more features geared toward teachers and classrooms, and it works on Windows as well as Mac OSX.
