HOBO Henry Science Kit
© 2004 iscienceproject.com
This is a science measurement kit that consists of software, some sort of cable, and a portable matchbook-sized data logger. Students take the sensor to their seats, do an experiment, and return to the computer where they can see their measurements graphed or displayed on the computer screen. Or they could leave the sensor outside overnight, to see how the temperature changes over the course of time. The sensors can record temperature, humidity and light. Kits start at $129, including one iScienceProject HOBO Data Logger Introductory Lab Kit $129, one RH/Temp/Light/External) one temperature sensor, and software (BoxCar 3.7). One cable is included. Note that the cable that came with our test kit was not USB, and no installation code was included with the software, so we could not install the necessary drivers.
