Discovery Channel School's 42-title science CD-ROM series has been enhanced to create a useful supplement to just about any upper elementary or middle school science curriculum. The Life, Physical and Earth science CDs now feature experiments in a virtual laboratory, with both English and Spanish narration. Additional content includes the World Book Encyclopedia Library and a multimedia studio for presentation design. A teacher's guide and worksheets are also provided. Titles include Birds, Cells, Heat, Motion, Solar System, Sounds, Volcanoes, and many more. We checked the CD called Genetics and found the entire presentation to be both easy to use and interesting. The crime scene investigation simulation is particularly compelling. With all its features and content, this program would make an excellent addition to any science teacher's library.
