American Presidents DVD Trivia Game, The

This presidential trivia game runs on just about anything -- including Windows PCs and Macs, as well as DVD players. The game has two modes of play, text and voice. The text mode allows students to read presidential biographies. The voice mode has students listening to clues about each president, as the “mystery” president’s picture slowly fills in, one puzzle piece at a time. Using the mouse or arrow keys, students pick the correct president from four choices before the picture completes itself. Scores are kept and the game is randomized with each session, keeping things fresh. On the downside, we wished for better images and real photos, but this is a minor criticism. This is a great way to learn important historical facts, as well as some wacky trivia. Do you know which president wore size fourteen shoes?
