Capsela are toy construction kits where kids build robots and then watch the gears and wheels operate to make the robots move. With Aqua Adventure, children build a motorized amphibious vehicle by following a diagram and assembling interlocking parts. Then, they can see their vehicle move through water or on land. In the process, kids are supposed to learn about motion, energy and buoyancy. All pieces are interchangeable with other Capsela sets so that users can experiment with their own inventions. We found the vehicle easy to assemble, but as for learning science concepts, a parent or teacher will need to facilitate. Kids loved building and playing with their toy, however.
