Part of the Edu-Tutor series, this program provides lessons and activities on oceans and climate. Content is delivered through text, movies, photos and six activities. Topics include global climate, light in the ocean, El Nino, the ozone hole and careers in science. Activities include measuring the transparency of the sea by using a Secchi Disk, and exploring the nature of waves by adjusting frequency, wave length and amplitude. Although the layers of content are deep, the movies are somewhat brief and disappointing and we wished for more activities. User history can be tracked, but there's no real record-keeping or skill assessment. Also, text is not read aloud. Still, the software is easy to use and would make a solid addition to science classroom libraries.
