Part of the Edu-Tutor series, this program provides lessons and activities on geology. Content is delivered through text, movies, photos and six activities. Topics include igneous, sedimentary, and metamorphic rocks, mineral groups, mineral ID tables, etc.. Activities include a game that teaches which minerals compose igneous rocks, and an interactive periodic table of elements. Although the layers of content are deep, we wished for more movies and activities. User history can be tracked, but there's no real record-keeping or skill assessment. Also, text is not read aloud. Still, the software is easy to use and would make a solid addition to science classroom libraries.
