Want to give your students a self-scoring, standards-based reading test? That's what this subscription based service is designed to do. We took the sample test (you can too, at www.iloli.com) which consists of three standard essays, each followed by about five multiple-choice comprehension questions. Students are immediately shown how they did, and their score is saved, right alongside state standards, which pop up in a new window next to each question. The design seems straightforward and easy to use, and the idea certainly has validity. But the price is not specified, and this could be an important factor to consider.
