Updated once again, this is an assessment tool that lets teachers better collect and use observable data. It's best used in conjunction with Learning Profile To Go 3.0, which lets you transfer programs and data from computer to PDA. First, you set up the observation criteria and objectives on your desktop computer, then you download the program to your PDA. Next, you use the PDA to record your observations as you watch and/or interact with students. Then you upload the data to your computer, analyze it and generate reports. Without the extra Learner Profile to Go software, your observations must be recorded on your desktop computer, which greatly limits mobility. The tool includes a fully integrated GradeBook, so teachers can track observations, grades and attendance all in the same place.
