Sold separately, these foreign language programs teach vocabulary, tense and verb conjugation in French, Spanish, German and Italian. Children hear and see a phrase or sentence and then pick the correct translation from a group of choices. Each CD teaches hundreds of verbs and phrases and thousands of tenses. Games can be customized to zero in on certain tenses, or singular vs. plurals, etc. Correct translations earn fruit, high scores are tallied, and records can be printed out. Native speakers provide the narration. This would be a very useful game for the foreign language classroom as vocabulary reinforcement.
