Stagecast creator is a authoring tool that enables the creation, play & modification of interactive simulations, models, games & Lessons, collectively called 'Sims'. Version 2.0 has much improved tutorial, and a richer number of creation options. Some clumsey design features remain -- it is hard to get in and out of a "sim" for example, and many of the controls are not standardized, which increases the learning curve. Also, the resulting products are very choppy and limited (don't expect to do much sophisticated programming). That said, for a nice graphic introduction to programming concepts, Stagecast 2.0 is worth a look.
