This is a straightforward and very sequential language program designed to teach numerous languages including Spanish, English, French, Russian, Arabic, Mandarin Chinese, and Hebrew, among others. Over 200 chapters or lessons gradually move students from beginning to advanced skills, and from what we can see, these are a bit on the dry side, but likely to be effective. There are tests that quiz student progress, and the sets of lessons generally consist of matching words and phrases to high interest pictures. There are numerous opportunities for students to practice their speaking skills, and the study guides, workbooks and quiz books come in very handy, particularly in school settings. The program offers some great customization features for sound, feedback and lessons.
