One in a line of similarly designed toys, this product teaches about the U.S. presidents, from George Washington to George W. Bush. The toy measures about 12 x 18 inches and features a flat screen with pictures of the presidents. Buttons along the bottom let children hear about each president's term in office, date of birth, political party, vice president, first lady and so on. Children can use the toy in an open-ended exploratory fashion, or they can play a multiple choice, true/false quiz game with over 10,000 questions. The toy's speech is clear and there's an automatic turn off function. Missing are volume control and a headphone jack. It makes learning presidential facts almost painless. Given its subject matter, this is a toy that seems better suited to classroom rather than home use.
