About the size of a softball, this smart toy for babies and toddlers is designed to encourage exploration of letters and their sounds. As a child handles the ball, or accidentally touches a letter, the ABC song starts. It offers harmless fun and an informal introduction to letters and the ABC song. The ball runs on three AA batteries, which are a bit hard to change (they are located inside the ball, which must be unlocked and taken apart). The rubbery surface of the ball is fun to touch, and the base makes it fun to spin.
