Ms. Frizzle and her students explore the world's volcanoes via a variety of engaging activities and games. Kids can perform experiments, view footage of volcanic eruptions, and play multilevel arcade-style games while learning fact after fact of fascinating volcano lore. Even though this is an activity center and not a mission-based game, there's lots to do. Children can manipulate gas and magma to create various levels of eruption, or watch animations to see step by step how a volcano is born. The arcade games offer a little break, letting kids dodge erupting debris and guide spewing lava around obstacles. In sum, this is a content-packed program that's both fun and educational.
