This likable set of multilevel language arts activities is lacking in terms of multimedia frills, but provides students with lots of good skill practice. Activities cover a wide range of topics including contractions, homophones, plurals, prefixes, suffixes, abbreviations, punctuation, spelling, and more. Kids split words into syllables to load roller coaster cars, do word searches for plurals and play a game show to learn compound words. Weaknesses include lackluster graphics, slow transitions between screens and no record keeping. It's also quite expensive. Strengths of the program are its breadth of content and its many engaging, if basic, activities.
