The design of this CD is straightforward and simple, but the content would be very useful for a preschool, kindergarten or daycare setting. Thirty-five pages of safety tips are presented to kids in multiple choice format. Children are presented with dangerous situations and must select "the safest thing to do" from four choices that are read aloud. In one screen, for example, a little boy is shown looking at an open bottle of pills that look like his vitamins. Kids have to decide if he should go ahead and take one, or leave the pills and tell an adult. Also covered are topics like finding a gun, going near railroad tracks, safety gear for riding bikes, fire safety and sharing food. Though the design is simple, the graphics are colorful and clear, and the information is presented in a thoughtful, sensitive fashion.
