Note: The original software in this package has been retrofitted by Sony for PSPs in 2008, as part of the Plato Achieve Now (see review) package. Available in English/Spanish, Lightspan Achieve Now is a standards-based curriculum program designed to increase achievement in reading, language arts, and mathematics. The package consists of software for Sony Playstations CDs, printed lesson plans for both home and school, teacher materials, on-site and technology-based professional development and student assessment. The lessons are generally playful in the way the deliver doses of practice interspersed with arcade games. Children can save the games using a password system.
