This program, like the other Thinkin' Things programs, is refreshingly different from traditional fare. Kids get to write one, two, or three part rhythms for the Oranga Banga's band. They can also try out their auditory matching skills in a new twist on Concentration and compose their own tunes on a variety of unusual instruments, like a sheep-phone or a futurephone. Kids can also draw lines, shapes or pictures that are mapped to one of four 3D spinning shapes, and they can experiment with art using a "masking" tool to separate images into foreground and background layers, creating a 3D illusion. The activities are well designed— they automatically adjust in difficulty level, keeping things interesting.
