Adiboo: Discover Nature, Animals & Planets

This second title in the Adiboo series offers two CDs. One is a busy-box of sorts with a variety of activities, and the other is a more focused CD that teaches about nature, animals and planets. Each is hosted by Adiboo, a friendly little character. With the first CD, kids can listen to music, play games, grow a garden and more. The second CD has locations to visit like a farm, space station, science lab or history museum. Activities include building a family tree, discovering sea creatures, naming planets, using maps and learning body parts. It's a real smorgasbord. Our testers liked this one better than its sister program, Adiboo: Discover Music, Melody & Rhyme. More than 40 activities can be found on the two CDs, so there is a lot to do, but there is little integration between the two discs. Also, some of the activities are tricky for the younger end of this age group, and the program can be a little confusing to navigate. Still, for a persistent, inquisitive five- or six-year-old, this program will provide hours of fun and learning.
