The best thing about this two CD early learning program is its great depth of content. Over 40 activities are offered, from painting to tending garden, baking cakes and playing music. Children are guided by Adiboo, a little creature we've seen before in the Adi Comprehensive Learning System series. Unfortunately, Adiboo talks too much. The first CD presents open-ended creativity and exploratory activities, a kind of busy box for young children. Kids can watch animated music videos, plant and grow things in the garden, make pictures, and so on. The second CD, which is poorly integrated with the first, teaches about music and listening via a variety of activities. Children can hear characters singing songs, record their own singing, identify common sounds, copy rhythms and much, much more. The quality of individual activities varies, but there sure is a lot to do. Weaknesses include lengthy non-interruptible animation sequences and navigational difficulties that make operating the program very confusing.
