Parents, students and teachers will find this free, all-math site useful— it offers homework help, math lessons, math tables and formulas, instant online converters and equation solvers and more. The ad-supported site is keyword searchable and also has an online store with math-related products. It's a great resource, with lots of neat features, but we like Dr. Math (http://forum.swarthmore.edu/dr.math/) for quicker, step-by-step help. The part of the site that impressed us the most was the nice selection of activities that are geared to specific math problem areas. For example, if you child is struggling with fractions, you can find over 40 simple drills that make the practice fun. Many of these exercises require shockwave, and the quality can vary; however, some are useful. Most of the content is geared toward drill. A teacher section contains links to lesson plans and tutoring services.
