This no frills program offers 26 lessons and games designed to introduce and reinforce 500 common Spanish words. The software uses an immersion approach. In other words, no English is used in the introduction or menus. Instead, the program encourages children freely explore by selecting an icon to hear the object described in a sentence in Spanish. The activities are simple but work. For example, one activity has children clicking on a mouse in a maze to learn directional words. Another has children picking out certain colors of clothing. The words are selected to cover common topics that include verb conjugation, time, numbers, family, weather, colors, and dialogs. There are also record and play back features. Pros include lots of content, cons include no record keeping and no English/Spanish dictionary.
