Multimedia: The Human Body
© 1999 Sunburst Technology
This is a fairly comprehensive "encyclopedia" on the human body. The trouble is, the unusual, rather creative presentation sometimes gets in the way of the content. The problem is that all the information is contained within the pages of an ancient book, designed to look like something that might have belonged to Leonardo DaVinci. Within this book, you will find a wealth of information on the body parts, systems and functions. The content is searchable by keyword and is delivered via text, narration, video, animation and photographs. All in all, this is an interesting and informative CD, but takes some time to figure out. Teacher support materials, including lesson plans and blackline masters, are included.
