Are your children fascinated with how their body works? This comprehensive reference tool includes topics such as growth and development, defense against disease, circulation, information processing, movement and energy. There are many ways for kids to find the information located on the CD, for example, there's a topic list and a searching tool. Content includes text, pictures and videos. Our testers really enjoyed the vivid 3D models of the eye, circulatory system and skeleton. Each model includes labeled body parts that kids can rotate up to 360 degrees. The skeleton is especially fun to control as you make it jump, kick, walk and bend all different ways. Teachers will like the suggested investigations that can lead to some great classroom activities. The Internet links that are included will enhance many of the topics. This program will make a solid addition to your reference library at home or at school.
