My First CD-ROM Toddler
© 1999 DK Multimedia
Six activities let first time computer users practice their mouse skills, listen to songs and play some learning games. In Pop and Peek, for instance, children pop balloons to find familiar hidden objects. Unfortunately, although the graphics are engaging and uncluttered, the program as a whole doesn't hold its own. Mouse skills are required (or a lot of adult assistance) to successfully play. Better toddler software takes into account very young children's limited mouse skills with any keystroke resulting in success.
