Puberty is the subject of this thoughtful CD designed to let preadolescent boys explore the natural changes that happen to their bodies as they mature. Content covers their own reproductive system as well as that of the opposite sex. Topics like acne, hair growth and wet dreams are addressed. Emphasis is on factual information and terminology and care is taken to explain to boys that their physical changes and associated experiences are normal. The single CD includes 200 images, video clips and an online dictionary. Quizzes provide kids with ways to check what they have learned. The video segments can be a little hokey at times, but overall, this is a valuable program with a great deal of important content. See also Girl to Woman.
