CTR Review

A free, ad supported Internet based information service with three levels: KNC 1 for grades 1-6, KNC 2 for middle school, and KNC 3 for high school. Each area contains sets of links and simple Internet activities themed around each school subject. For example, we found and were able to find links to a site with pictures of different kinds of rocks, and so on. KNC also produces a filter/browser that can be downloaded from KNC site (www.kncsoftware.com). Version 4 MAC/PC of this browser is free to schools, teachers and educators. Version 5 will debut in 2000 and will cost $19.95.
