This new DVD-ROM has some nicely designed, very responsive activities in which kids sequence pictures, color in an electronic coloring book, match picture cards in a concentration game and play a very child-friendly dot-to-dot activity. Each of these strong activities are perfect for the four to five year old set, although the program won't have enough challenges for kids beyond age five. Families had a tough time figuring out how to play the 50-minute DVD Barney video. Once they did, however, even the seven- and eight-year-old kids were glued to the monitor, not wanting to miss the excellent graphics and sounds. Kids will find a 32-page book on the CD which can be read by Barney, along with 15 songs. Overall, this DVD has something for every Barney fan.
