Part of the larger Education Place web site published by Houghton Mifflin's School Division, this area has brain teasers, book recommendations, games and links. Kids can play word searches, geography games, join book discussion clubs, and write their own reviews of books. There are some very good creative writing opportunities, for instance, children are asked to write definitions for words like stertor and tartine (yes these are real words).
