A resource that every teacher should know about, this site offers free lesson plans and worksheets for a wide variety of subjects including ancient history, animals, oceans, physical science, astronomy, literature, economics and many more. Feature stories, links and an on-line store of videos, CDs, etc. round out the site, which is searchable. This is an incredible resource; the activities are very strong and the content is excellent. In January 2001, two new features were added. Worksheet Generator includes a library of 900 different worksheets for all subject areas, created by teachers for teachers. Custom Classroom lets teachers create a personal account for saving puzzles created in Puzzlemaker. One of the most used areas of the site is Puzzlemaker, that transforms personal word lists into customized word searches, crossword puzzles or math puzzles.
