This free web site sponsored by Ernst & Young LLP (a financial planning company) is designed to enhance financial planning skills in middle school students. The site includes lesson plans, and a game where students must manage a sum of money as they consider debt, interest, saving, investing and so on. As a player enters the fictional town of "Moneyopolis" he or she is given seed money and then must visit seven centers, for example Financial Planning, Education, Shopping, etc. A scorecard tracks progress and a certificate can be printed. The site was developed by The Lightbeam group.
