This battery powered portable computer provides a direct hookup to larger, more expensive computers, enabling a student to write at his or her seat, and than plug into the printer for output. Features include spell checking with a 70,000 word dictionary, a keyboarding timer for typing assessment, 300 hours on 3 AA batteries, an adjustable screen, and AutoPower off). Version 3000 improvements include more memory (up to 100 pages of text), better editing power (cut/paste), a USB connection, and the ability to work with a limited number of programs, including Accelerated Reader.
