A nicely illustrated story meets poor, unresponsive interactive design, in this app adaptation of the book by Susanne Weber and Tanja Jacobs. You follow an owl with a painful looking bump on her head, as she tries to find help from her friends. There's not much to do, other than to try on different cures -- one at a time. Our testers were disappointed that the bump didn't ever seem to get better. There's no way to jump around in the book, and you are forced to watch each event presented in the same order. There are some missed language opportunities as well. For example, you can't touch a word, sentence or paragraph to here it read out loud.
