This is a "Powers of 10" experience that lets you zoom in or out. As you move through the size dimension, you can explore 250 items, each defined with a tap, and also in a glossary. We enjoyed some of the random elements, and the text is clever because it helps you make connections between the items. This app contains items that range from the universe to the tiniest atomic particles. Content includes scales of 10^-35 meters to 10^26 meters. Note that all measurements are metric. Reading is required, and there are no dynamic sound effects. The background music can be turned on/off. This app comes from a Munich-based YouTube channel and design studio called Kurzgesagt, which is German for "In a nutshell.“ The mission is to "raise awareness for topics from the fields of science, space, technology, biology, history and philosophy." Some of the videos contain ads. This app does not. Thanks to Scott Traylor for telling us about this app. Visit the YouTube channel at https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCsXVk37bltHxD1rDPwtNM8Q
