This is a new mode for Android-based tablets designed by Google. It is designed to include "kid-friendly features and content, and parental controls." It will be featured on Lenovo’s $150 Tab M10 HD Gen 2. Google says it’s coming to more devices in the future. According to Scott Traylor, there are a number of tablets that offer content specifically for children, such as Amazon’s Fire HD Kids Edition line. There are also various third-party parental control apps that families can download. Kids Space is unique because it will be built into some Android tablets, not just tablets designed for kids. As of the release date (October 2020, Google Kids Space only available on the Lenovo Tab M10. Google policies like "Designed for Families" places certain restrictions on developers with regard to advertising. You can remove recommendations for apps with advertising during device setup or by using Family Link. You can review and block apps with ads through Family Link.
