"Insidious behaviorism" (which is not a good thing) was the comment scrawled in the reviewers notes for this app; in this case referring to this just released (June 2019) app from Cartoon Network. The app follows a tried-and-true formula that mixes fun, addicting play and ads for toys, candy or other Cartoon Network content. The process with apps like this one starts the same way -- a free app that won't start unless you accept the approximately 30 pages of "Terms of Use" and "Privacy Policy." Your reward is a menu with 21 addicting games, each based on an acrade-style play pattern that includes a lot of success early on, but ramps up the challenge level to the point that it is impossible to progress unless you watch a commercial. You smash piņatas, punch rainbows or kick soccer trolls. Each level is built with characters and themes from Cartoon Network programs. Shows include Teen Titans GO!, The Amazing World of Gumball, Steven Universe, Ben 10 and Craig of the Creek. More characters and content is added every month.
