This is a side-scrolling walk in the woods. As the screen moves you meet various various forest animals. First you hear the animal (via a real recorded sound). Next drag and drop what it eats from three choices. The animal bodies look real but the faces have been digitally modified, with large eyes that blink. So fiction is mixed with a dose of nonfiction. Content includes real sounds, and factual information about animal food. Animals include an eagle, deer, bear, hedgehog and rabbit. This is a didactic experience that scrolls automatically, which reduces feelings of child control. Created in Holland by Educational Pigeon. Game label ‘Midnight Pigeon’ was founded in 2016 by Vincent van Geel.
