Planktomania AR

This is one of two free apps (the other is called Planktomania VR, to work with Google cardboard) created with funding from various sources, designed to help you understand more about Plankton. Both apps work best with phone-sized devices. The AR app is small and easy to download, and it is possible to download and print your own AR cards, which trigger pop-up models of plankton. Both apps could be better designed, but are rich in content, and should be part of any science teacher's app library. Content includes seven families of families game PlanktoMania. Explore the website, which contains a variety of material. This app was demonstrated by oceanographer Tierney Thys during Dust or Magic AppCamp 2017.
