Adventures of the Three Little Pigs, The

This playful version of The Three Little Pigs consists of 19 screens that cleverly unfold to deliver a page full of Little Pigs narrative, in your choice of three languages. After the bits of story are presented, some rather random multiple-choice questions are presented such as "what color is Mickey's pants?" or "what time of day do you have breakfast?" These questions could be better integrated into the narrative. The story is a slightly modified version of the classic: the pigs are named Nicky, Ricky and Mickey, and the interactive features are limited. There is no multi-touch for example, and you often see things that look interesting but are not interactive. But the sound is excellent and it is easy to toggle between English, German and Russian. There are autoplay, read to me and let me read modes, along with a lot of background animation that you can't control. Need to know: There are many "Three Little Pigs" apps, and this is better than most. Our favorite treatment of the Three Little Pigs remains the one by Nosy Crow.
