Designed specifically for the month of December, this free app subtly unfolds Christmas, one day at a time. Advent is the season observed in many Western Christian churches as a time of expectant waiting for the celebration of Christmas. From 1st of December until the 24th, the app offers a new gift that appears in Fiete's living room. The illustrations are excellent; the theme playful and festive and the UI is simple. So what's the catch? The app subtly promotes a book and other Fiete-branded products on the main menu, behind a parent's gate. There's not much to worry about -- this app really is a nice gift.
