Fiete is a funny German sailor, who has appeared in several previous well designed, nicely illustrated apps. Each of the one player games is fast-paced and fun, and follow tried and true play patterns. The Tennis and ping pong lets you play a Pong-like game, and there are several running or riding games where you tap the screen as quickly as possible to win the race. A few of the games are hard to learn, with some tricky controls, especially the shot put and archery. Other games include riding horses and jumping hurdles (both with timed taps), ping pong, fencing, tennis, or swimming. This is a free app that offers icons for activities that are not available. Touching the Tennis icon, for example, gives you a lock (a dead end). But there is no risk of getting to the app store. You can pay $1.99 to unlock all additional games from the main menu, behind an age gate. We'd recommend buying the full version outright.
