Turn your iPad into an electron microscope that is inhabited by a mouse named Nano, with this unconventional science app. While it has design flaws, the underlying ideas are solid, making it worth a look. As you build molecules or collect magnifying glasses you are introduced to sound, temperature and materials by way of hands on activities. The app was created in Russia by Pavel Gubarev. The interface can be confusing, and there is no language or hints. It's also impossible to save your progress or skip ahead in the game. The publisher contacted us and noted they have made two major updates, extending functionality based on feedback from educators.
