Millie Moreorless
© 2016 Enabling Play
This thoughtfully designed early math experience gives children a simple yet important early mathematics task (visually identifying sets as more or less at a glance) and provides a playful context for practice and mastery. Millie Moreorless is an alien space adventurer who is trying to get to a flag. But she keeps running into walls or holes in the ground. You help Millie cross holes by adding blocks, by choosing either larger or smaller sums. Every time you reach a flag, you get a reward and a dance. Content includes five "worlds" each with a slightly harder challenge. Millie Moreorless was originally developed in partnership with Made in Me and Dr. Jill Porter from the University of Bath with funding from the REACT Play Sandbox and Nominet Trust. Need to know -- the format is a bit addicting but becomes repetitive. There's a confusing free-play area inside Millie’s backpack.
