Games of concentration on computer screens have been around since MS-DOS. But this is the first to combine a multi-touch screen with a phonics experience, plus some numeral association -- with the added bonus of combining visual and audio information as part of the memory challenge. It's also the first we've seen that offers a both a double or triple matching memory game, with four different monster types, and that gives the child the choice, in the first menu to choose the level or presentation style. The bottom line is that this app would work well on any child's iPad at home, school or library setting.
